Order

The Interim Conditions of Practice Order imposed on 10 April 2024 and confirmed and varied on 17 October 2024, is further varied and confirmed. The conditions are as follows:

The Interim Conditions of Practice are:

1) You must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a workplace supervisor who is registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of taking up employment as a Physiotherapist. You must attend upon that workplace supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.

2) You must continue to work with your workplace supervisor on your Personal Development Plan, addressing the deficiencies in your practice, including patient assessment, treatment and record-keeping.

3) You must supply your workplace supervisor on a weekly basis with a list detailing all the patients you have treated that week.

4) You must meet with your workplace supervisor on a monthly basis, or more frequently if your workplace supervisor considers it necessary, to consider your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your Personal Development Plan.

5) You must allow your workplace supervisor to provide information to the HCPC about your progress towards achieving the aims set out in your Personal Development Plan, at each review hearing.

6) You must inform the HCPC within 14 days if you take up any employment requiring HCPC registration, or if you cease to be employed by an employer who required you to have HCPC registration.

7) You must inform the HCPC within 14 days of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.

8) You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and

C. any prospective employer (at the time of your application).

Notes

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 17 April 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
