Order
The Interim Conditions of Practice Order is continued, without variation, as follows:
1. You must only work for your current employer, Enhance Medical Group. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to be employed by your current employer.
2. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.
3. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application): and
C. any prospective employer (at the time of your application).
4. You must not carry out any ODP duties which require you to directly administer, supply, possess and/or use general anaesthetics unless you are under the direct supervision of one of the three Consultant Anaesthetists regularly engaged at Enhance Medical Group.
5. You must place yourself under the direct supervision of a workplace supervisor, who is registered with the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator, and you must supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 7 working days of the Operative Date.
6. You must attend upon your workplace supervisor as required and follow their advice and/or recommendations.
7. You must allow your supervisor to liaise with the three Consultant Anaesthetists regularly engaged at Enhance Medical Group and allow your supervisor to provide information to the HCPC about your progress in your role. You must provide an update from your employer regarding your progress prior to each review hearing.
8. You must inform your general practitioner about these conditions of practice and authorise that person to provide the HCPC upon request with information about your health and any treatment advised to be received or treatment that you are receiving.
9. You must keep your professional commitments under review and limit your professional practice in accordance with the advice of your general practitioner.
10. You must cease practising immediately if you are advised to do so by your general practitioner and/or relevant healthcare professionals.
Notes
The Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 18 July 2024, or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available.
