ORDER: The Registrar is directed to annotate the HCPC Register to show that, from the date this Order comes into effect (today), Mr Naresh K Damodaran Naidu must comply with the following Interim Conditions of Practice, for a period of 18 months:

1. You must not work as a Community Physiotherapist. You must confine your professional practice to working in a clinical setting only, not in residential homes.

2. If you are undertaking in-person treatment of, or having in-person consultations with, female patients, you must be directly supervised by a professional chaperone who shall be a HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.

3. You must maintain a record of every case where you have been involved in the direct provision of services to female patients, in each case, signed by the professional chaperone, and containing their name and professional qualification.

4. You must provide a copy of these records to the HCPC prior to the next review hearing, or alternatively, confirm that there have been no such cases during that period.

5. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you cease to provide services as a Physiotherapist to Rehab Therapist, or if you take up any other employment or contract to undertake professional work.

6. You must promptly inform the HCPC of any disciplinary proceedings taken against you by your employer.

7. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

a. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

b. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application); and

c. any prospective employer (at the time of your application), if the employment is for professional work.

Notes

This Order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 13 June 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available.
