Service of Notice and Proceeding in Private
1. The HCPC provided evidence that Notice of today’s hearing had been sent by way of letter on 24 November 2020 regarding the Voluntary Removal Agreement (VRA), to the Registrant’s email address on the HCPC Register. This contained the correct details of today’s hearing and had been posted in sufficient time in advance of the hearing. The Panel were satisfied that the rules on service of Notice have been complied with.
2. The Panel heard an application from Ms Knight to conduct the hearing in private. Having taken legal advice from the Legal Assessor, the Panel concluded that it was fair and appropriate to conduct the entire hearing in private given the health issues that arise and underpin the VRA, and given the need to protect the Registrant’s private life.
Order
Order: The Panel directs the Registrar to remove the name of Ms Anna Hill from the Register with immediate effect.
