Order
ORDER: The Registrar is directed to continue the Interim Conditions of Practice order, varied as directed by the Panel. The conditions are as follows:
(1) You must not undertake any work through an agency.
(2) You must not undertake any work as a locum.
(3) (a) You must place yourself and remain under the indirect supervision of a workplace supervisor registered by the HCPC or another appropriate statutory regulator and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of 29 January 2025.
(b) You must meet with your supervisor on a monthly basis and follow their advice and recommendations.
(4) Prior to commencement of any work shift which will bring you into direct patient contact, you must present yourself to your workplace supervisor or other identified registered healthcare professional. You must arrange for a log of the presentation to be kept and signed by that person.
(5) You must inform the HCPC forthwith if you cease to be employed by your current employer.
(6) If you take up any further or alternative employment, you must forthwith provide the HCPC with details of that employment.

(8) (a) You must inform your general practitioner and occupational health specialist about these conditions of practice and authorise that person to provide the HCPC with information about your health and any treatment you are receiving.
(b) You must arrange for the provision of a report from your occupational health specialist to the HCPC at least 2 weeks prior to every review of the interim order as to your compliance with treatment, current medication, and prognosis.
(c) You must keep your professional commitments under review and limit your professional practice in accordance with the advice of your general practitioner and / or occupational health specialist.
(d) You must cease practising immediately if you are advised to do so by your general practitioner or occupational health specialist. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of receiving this advice.
(9) You must inform the HCPC forthwith if further proceedings are commenced against you by your employer that relate to issues of discipline or competence.
(10) You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. your current employer;
B. any prospective employer for work for which your HCPC registration is required (at the time of your application);
C. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;
D. any healthcare professional involved with your current treatment;
E. the Occupational Health provider for your current employer.
(11) You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your performance, compliance with, and/or progress under these conditions with:
A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. any prospective employer for work for which your HCPC registration is required (at the time of your application);
C. any organisation through which you are undertaking professional training;
D. any healthcare professional involved with your current treatment;
E. the Occupational Health provider for your current employer.
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 29 April 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
