ORDER: The Registrar is directed to annotate the HCPC Register to show that, from the date this Order comes into effect (today), Dr Farhad Ahmad must comply with the following Interim Conditions of Practice, for a period of 18 months:

1. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up any professional work.

2. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you cease to be employed by an employer.

3. You must confine your professional practice to working in a setting where you are not the sole practitioner.

4. You must not carry out any physiotherapy consultations or treatment with female service users.

5. You must place yourself under supervision of a workplace supervisor registered by the HCPC or other appropriate statutory regulator and supply details of your supervisor to the HCPC within 7 days of taking up employment as a physiotherapist.

6. You must provide documentary evidence from your supervisor to confirm your compliance with these conditions in advance of any future review hearings.

7. You must inform the HCPC within seven days if you take up work requiring registration with a professional body outside the United Kingdom, and

8. You must inform the HCPC within seven days of returning to practice in the United Kingdom.

9. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);

C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application).

10. You must allow the HCPC to share, as necessary, details about your compliance with these conditions with:

A. any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;

B. any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with to undertake professional work (at the time of application);

C. any prospective employer for professional work (at the time of your application).

This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 13 July 2025 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
