Order
The Registrar is directed to annotate the HCPC Register to show that for a period of 18 months from the date that this Order takes effect (“the Operative Date”), you, Mr Prince Ageh Ogenyi, must comply with the following conditions of practice:
1. Once in employment for which your HCPC Registration is required, you must place yourself and remain under the supervision of a workplace supervisor registered by the HCPC or other statutory regulator. You must supply details of your workplace supervisor to the HCPC within 14 days of the workplace supervisor being identified. You must attend upon that workplace supervisor as required and follow their advice and recommendations.
2. You must not undertake any ultrasound scans unless directly supervised by an HCPC-registered Radiographer who is a qualified Sonographer, until you have been signed off as competent by your workplace supervisor in the relevant area of ultrasound.
3. You must meet with your workplace supervisor on a monthly basis to consider and reflect on your progress in any area of ultrasound if you are undertaking it.
4. You must allow your workplace supervisor to provide information to the HCPC about your progress and any concerns relating to your progress in any area of ultrasound practice, and you must request that the workplace supervisor prepares a report on your progress in relation to ultrasound no later than 5 days before any review of this Interim Order.
5. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you take up any employment for which your HCPC Registration is required.
6. You must promptly inform the HCPC if you become subject to any proceedings relating to discipline, or competence in any area of radiography practice.
7. You must inform the following parties that your registration is subject to these conditions:
A. Any organisation or person employing or contracting with you to undertake professional work;
B. Any agency you are registered with or apply to be registered with (at the time of application); and
C. Any prospective employer (at the time of your application).
Notes
This order will be reviewed by the Committee no later than 14 February 2024 or earlier if new evidence which is relevant to the Order becomes available after it was made.
